An assignment in chemistry I enjoyed was creating a slideshow with a voice over talking as if you were the element along with a magazine cover for your element if we did an accent in our voice over than we would get extra credit. I did the accent and it was amusing to me especially learning how to manipulate the new program we did the slideshows on by Mrs Andrade. I demonstrated initiation and integrity because we had to the voice overs individually with no one to fall back on so I couldn’t procrastinate I had to get on the job and start. I used integrity because when no one was there or looking I did my slides and used my script being original. These two habit of minds are important to have in school and in life because no one is going to trust or rely on someone who procrastinates and does the wrong things when no one is looking but does the right things when someone is.

 Molarity lab

For chemistry a lab we did was a molar molarity lab. In this lab we were taught how to use our known to find our unknown. First we started off by doing equations to determine the molarity and how much grams of salt. In order to do that we used our molarity formula and imputed our known. We then started the lab by mixing the salt and the molarity together in a volumetric flask. After we tested each of their conductivity by using a conductivity probe. We used the numbers that appeared on the screen connected to the conductivity probe and imputed them into an excel graph. The graph was printed and was used to find our unknown, due to an error in the process of the lab me and my group made our unknown remains unknown. When doing this I used the habit of mind teamwork because we all worked together to understand and complete this assignment.
