Faces is a resource used to recreate a person's face, which is why law enforcement uses it. In project 3, we read a description of a person or a photo and go through the features of that specific person make it as close as possible to the given one. This used the habit of mind being creative and persistence. You have to use your imagination to put what you know about the scene on the computer, as well as persistence when you can’t get a feature right you must persist because you want to aim for the most accurate features as possible. This is important in life because if you choose a career in law enforcement or want to teach about it you may be familiar to a similar program.The two habit of minds demonstrated during this assignment is important as well because they help life and school become easier and more enjoyable.
Scene PD
Faces
Scene PD is a computer program used to show the layout of a scene, which is why law enforcement uses it. In project 2 & 3 this was useful . In each project we read about a scene and used scene pd to recreate what the scene looked like from birds eye view as law enforcement does.This used the habit of mind being creative because you have to use your imagination to put what you know about the scene on the computer. This is important in life if you choose to pursue a career in law enforcement or want to teach about it then you may be familiar to similar programs. Another habit of mind used was connecting ideas because you may have read about the scene not seen a visual, therefore you have to connect your ideas from the text and put them into the program. This habit of mind is important in life because you have to connect lots of ideas with people to achieve what you desire.
